The Essentials
All tradtional and nature-based cultures valued dreams–from the Ancient East and Mediterrenean; from Europe to South America, Africa and beyond. In this workshop, we will draw inspiration from ancient dreamwork techniques and alchemize them with contemporary depth psychology, somatics, and soul-centric dreamwork practices to offer a unique and intensive immersion in the arts of dreaming. Through well-tested and experimental techniques, skilled facilitation, and collective dream collaboration, we will court the power of our dreams for personal and collective enrichment.

Assisted by Monica Devi-Bhakti and Steve Wilson. Monica and Steve bring decades of diverse experience in multidisciplinary techniques and are founders of the Sacred Mountain Mystery School. More info below.
When: Friday December 5th at 5pm to Sunday December 7th around 2pm.
Where: Sacred Mountain Mystery School in Durango, Co. Address sent upon confirmation.
Cost: $280-380 sliding scale. $100 Deposit.

Saturday:
-Morning guided practice + meditation and movement.

-on-the-land hikes and dreamwork
-return to home, free time.
-Dinner with dream-centric discussion
-ceremony that leads to Dream Temple
-In the Dream Temple (Mystery Rites)
-Dream amplified sleep.

About
Deer Ryder is a Nature-Based Underworld Guide, writer, dream worker, and poet-storyteller rooted in the American Southwest. He creates, facilitates, and supports offerings that help kindle the reverential, mystical, and reciprocal relationship to land and soul for his local community, nationally, and internationally.
For the past 7 years, Deer’s primary lineage has been with the Animas Valley Institute, a nature-based mystery school where Deer trains as a Soul Initiation Guide and facilitates the Nature Based Map of the Psyche, SoulCraft™, trance states, eco-somatics, guiding wilderness fasts and rites of passage.
Deer is a founding member and Lead Guide for LifeWays Conscious Wilderness Institute and spent two years as a senior field guide for Open Sky Wilderness Therapy; he is a certified Wilderness First Responder, certified wildlife tracker, and certified in nature-based practices and eco-psychology from the Eco-Dharma Centre in the Catalan Pyrenees.
Deer has been a dedicated meditation practitioner and facilitator for 10 years, primarily in the Vipassana/Insight traditions, and is fascinated with exploring the sacred ecological roots of contemplative practices.
He has his BA in Literature and Creative Writing from UCLA and is a student of worldwide mythology, storytelling, and traditional cultures.

About Monica: Monica Devi Bhakti is a Psychic Therapist, Soul Coach, Heart-Centered Counselor & Transformational Retreat Leader. She specializes in working with Highly Sensitive individuals, and those overcoming narcissistic abuse and trauma. She has used Alchemical Dreawork in her practice, among numerous other healing modalities, to assist in personal and planetary healing. She has been honored to assist people in finding freedom & empowerment for over 35 years.
About Steve: Steve Muryo Wilson, MA, LPC is a Psychotherapist and Sound Shaman in Durango, CO. Co-Founder of Sacred Mountain Mystery School, Steve and Monica Devi Bhakti offer a teaching curriculum and ceremonial journeys to bring the techniques of the Ancient Mystery Schools to the modern age in service to personal, relational, collective, and planetary transformation. Majoring in Religion & Philosophy, and later Counseling Psychology, Steve Muryo (Muryo is his Buddhist name) has practiced Lucid Dreaming, Tantric Zen Buddhism, and Shamanism for decades. Lucid Dreaming is a spiritual practice where you awake in your night-time dreams and work through karma in this liminal Bardo state.
